DES MURPHY

I used Kindle Connect to turn my manuscript into an ebook but I don’t think I’ll use it for the next one. Although it does produce a presentable end product, it’s too limited and also has some annoying features, such as, if you pause it for too long it will be unable to save your work and may end up losing everything – it did that to me and I spent a week cobbling it back together from an older version. (KDP help didn’t have a clue what the problem was. The solution I went for was to save, shut down and reload every half hour.)
